There is a lot going on in 'vitiligo land' and the December issue is covered Spotlight! attention to that.
For example, at the end of September a cheerful youth day took place in Utrecht.
And while the children were playing, it was announced a little further that Vitiligo.nl will be setting up a sounding board group for parents of children with vitiligo - this is done in collaboration with involved dermatologists from the Amsterdam UMC.
They will focus even more than before on the possible disease burden of the pigment disorder.

In the meantime, the international vitiligo guideline has also been updated: the social impact of vitiligo is also receiving more attention. 

And then there is the research of two Communications students from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven. They have investigated how Vitiligo.nl can better help young people and young adults to deal with (the possible disease burden) of vitiligo. 

In short: there is plenty of movement!
