Vitiligo Patient Views

For people with vitiligo, unfortunately, it is not always a given that they have access to the right knowledge, support, and care. That is why your experiences are of great value.

The Vitiligo International Patient Organizations Committee (VIPOC) is currently conducting a unique global study: Vitiligo Patient Views.

This international study, available in 16 languages, aims to better understand the wishes, needs, and experiences of people with vitiligo and their loved ones.

The Dutch patient association Vitiligo.nl is also part of VIPOC.

By participating, you not only help to make the experiences of people with vitiligo in the Netherlands visible, but you also contribute to an important global initiative.

In this completely anonymous survey, we would like to know more about:

• the experiences of people with vitiligo;

• the experiences of family members and caregivers;

• the emotional impact of vitiligo;

• the impact on daily life, work, and school;

• experiences with treatments and care.

Completing the survey (also available in Dutch) takes 20-30 minutes and is accessible to:

• Adults (18 years and older) with vitiligo, or young people aged 12-17 with the permission of a caregiver

• Caregivers of a child under 18 with vitiligo

NB. This study received a positive opinion from the French Ethics Review Board for the Protection of Persons – IDF VII Decision No. 26.00422.000533.

Do you have vitiligo yourself, or do you care for someone with vitiligo? Then we cordially invite you to participate in this study.

Your vote counts.
