Guest speakers members day 2022

Prof. Dr. Marcel Bekkenk is professor of dermatology, head of the dermatology department of the Amsterdam UMC, part of the Dutch Institute for Pigment Disorders Section (SNIP)

Dr. Albert Wolkerstorfer works as a dermatologist at the Amsterdam UMC, a specialist in laser technology and a staff member of the SNIP

Marcel Bekkenk and Albert Wolkerstorfer will both discuss in detail the latest status of Dutch and international research in both the morning program and the afternoon program. Attention will also be paid to the
'Yak brakemen'.

Jeannine la Rose is a presenter, actress, musical singer, vocal and presentation coach.
Jeaninne currently plays a prominent role in the musical 'Tina' in the Beatrixtheater, Utrecht.
On this members' day, she will not only be a guest presenter, but she will also lead the 'feeling comfortable in your skin' workshop for the young people.


Marjolein Baan and Ymke Ruisendaal will provide presentations as representatives of Hulscher Cosmetics (an authority in the field of Permanent Make-up since 1990).

Carla Uppelschoten is director of U-Consultancy and senior trainer. U-Consultancy provides high-quality and practice-oriented dermatology training for professionals with a broad interest in skin care

Professor Dr. Nanja van Geel is a dermatologist at the UZG in Ghent and is involved in research projects in the field of vitiligo. Nanja van Geel (online) will provide an interactive presentation about VITAL (Vitiligo International Task force for an Agreed List) and the international guidelines during the members day together with team member Jolien Duponselle (live).

Dr. Mark Vondenhoff is a senior lecturer and research coordinator of the Skin Therapy course and Principal Investigator at the research groups 'Technology for Skin Care' and 'Quality of life in skin patients' at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Mark will discuss the collaboration with Vitiligo.nl in the field of research. An example of this will be given in a lively manner by a number of students in a presentation.
