The members of Vitiligo.nl receive the Spotlight! This issue includes:

The recent World Vitiligo Day in Amsterdam received a lot of attention. In their medieval garb, the participating volunteers shone brightly in the heart of the Jordaan. This September edition features many photos from the day, and some also look back on it. 

We also delve into a much-discussed topic: the sudden flare-up of vitiligo. Psychodermatologist Patrick Kemperman explains what happens and how you can deal with it in various ways, both for yourself and your growing child. Mother Ikrame talks about the approach, the questions, the uncertainties, and the developments at home with her daughter Noor (9).

We also asked our members: what do you do when you meet someone who also has vitiligo? Does your encounter lead to spontaneous and surprising conversations? We received many positive responses!
