Our promotional film 'Courage In Motion'
The LVVP has had a promotional film made can now be seen on YouTube.
Our thanks go to the professional crew of X concepts (photo) for making this film. The dancers in the film are LVVP member Jason Vayro and Merel Molenaar. They dance in an abandoned factory shed, between rusty pipes and all kinds of rubbish. The contrast between the beauty of the dance and the ugly environment in which they dance could not be greater. And then there are the contrasts between modern and classical dance, and between beautiful smooth skin and spotty skin... because after a minute it turns out that Jason has vitiligo. Yet he has the courage to step into the spotlight with his spots. The film with all its symbolism ends with the text: 'Vitiligo requires courage'.
The film is intended to raise awareness of vitiligo in a positive, energetic way. This was achieved well with this film. The LVVP therefore hopes that the film will be shared widely on the internet, for example via Facebook.
