Like many other (patient) associations, Vitiligo.nl is affected by the corona issues, but we are not standing still, on the contrary. The crisis only makes our role even clearer, helps clarify our focus and stimulates digital processes. Our board meetings took place online recently (as we planned), proposals were discussed and decisions were made.

We have taken steps to inventory among the members what corona has done to them, what have they encountered now? What we have continued to do is collect, select and answer questions that are relevant to members and non-members. Our motto is therefore: we must stay close to the members and hear what they are doing.

We have taken the time to examine partnerships and made plans to go public more with our partners as soon as it is possible again.

This requires strategic thinking about existing and future partners, especially when it comes to advocacy.

We are eager to organize events for our members again: the start has already been made. The board of Vitiligo.nl is taking every opportunity to organize a special members day for the autumn. A day where you can expect the latest medical information from the pigment specialists, but also a day of relaxation. (After all, we wanted to celebrate our 30th anniversary with exuberance last year).
In short, we have not been idle, but have put the past few months to good use.

Let's assume that we can weather this crisis together and can greet each other spontaneously in a few months.

Hang on a little longer.
