For everyone who cares about Vitiligo.nl, it is good to know that our organization has ANBI status. This means that Vitiligo.nl is officially recognized as a Public Benefit Organization, i.e. a good cause, and that has tax benefits for donors.

The benefits mainly occur with donations. Both the institution and the generous donor are rewarded fiscally. An ANBI institution does not pay inheritance tax or gift tax when it receives a gift, while donors may deduct their monetary contribution to an ANBI from income or corporate tax.

In 2012, Vitiligo.nl was confronted with a significant cut in the annual subsidy that patient associations receive. Since then, we have continued as much as possible by organizing member contact days, information meetings, advocacy and publishing a quarterly magazine for people with vitiligo. If you would like to support our work, we would be very happy to do so, and thanks to our ANBI status, it can in any case be tax-efficient.
