Looking for young testers for the Face IT program.

Are you between 12 and 18 years old and do you have vitiligo? Then you can help with research into a new online utility: Face IT for young people. Become a tester!

The Erasmus Medical Center/Sophia Children's Hospital in Rotterdam is conducting research into the results of this aid program, which has been specially developed for young people with a visible condition. This could be a skin condition such as vitiligo, but also a congenital condition or scars from burns.

Support for you, just at home

The aim of the program is to help young people who sometimes experience unpleasant situations, are bullied or excluded due to their condition. That can be quite devastating if it happens to you. It is nice if you can simply seek help and support at home on your computer or tablet at a time that suits you. So you don't have to go to a therapist. The online program Face IT for young people consists of eight sessions with information, exercises, quizzes and videos. The program has now been tested by a small group of young people with a visible condition. Now the builders want to test it on a larger group of young people and they are asking for your help.

What should you do?
Participating in the study as a tester means that you complete a number of questionnaires at three times. Half of the testers also follow the program during that period, the other half of the testers only have to complete the questionnaires. If you are placed in the group that does not follow the program, you will still have access to the program after your participation. This way you participate in a real scientific study, and you also earn a Bol.com gift voucher of 10 euros.
