Members day 2019 about science and research
The theme of the members day on October 6 is: science and research. You are invited to the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, where experts will update you on the latest insights into vitiligo.
Hopeful messages from America?
In the conference room (lecture room 4), dermatologists Marcel Bekkenk and Albert Wolkerstorfer, among others, talk about the latest options for the treatment of vitiligo, under the title 'Hopeful messages from America?' More diverse Dutch studies and the connection with thyroid disorders are discussed. It will be a varied program with short presentations so that you can learn a lot in one afternoon. The members day is of course freely accessible to members of the Vitiligo.nl association, who are each allowed to bring one guest, but registration is required. There is room for about 400 people.

Cool youth program
The program for adults also has room for interludes with activities. During the breaks you can choose to participate in a camouflage workshop, a photo shoot, or go to the information market with stands about Permanent Make-Up (PMU) and Eurocept (light booths). The board of Vitiligo.nl would like to invite you to the members day on October 6, this year in conference room 4 of the Amsterdam UMC, location Academic Medical Center. This hospital is home to the SNIP, which is the only institute in the Netherlands specialized in treating pigment disorders such as vitiligo.

- What are the causes of vitiligo? • Treatment (new options and research), development of vitiligo. What do you not (yet) see in the consultation room?

Program for young people
Vitiligo.nl organizes two sparkling workshops in a separate room, which are suitable for both younger and older youth. 4XM provides this program, this company specializes in workshops and performances. There is a break between the two workshops. After the break, Nienke Timmers, known for the photo card campaign surrounding World Vitiligo Day, will give a short presentation.
