The Dutch Healthcare Institute has declared the dossier concerning the medicinal product ruxolitinib cream (Opzelura®) complete for certain people with a depigmenting skin condition (vitiligo) affecting the face. It has started assessing whether the cream can be reimbursed from the basic health insurance package.

On Wednesday 25 June – World Vitiligo Day – Vitiligo.nl presents the event Living Canvas – The Art of Vitiligo in Amsterdam. From young to old, about twenty volunteers bring vitiligo to life with classic paintings by Rembrandt and Van Gogh, among others. In historical costumes, they literally show themselves in a context in which they were previously absent for centuries. This creates a colourful tableau vivant.
