With summer just around the corner, it’s great to have Marcel on the cover. He and his family run a large campsite in Mariënberg, Overijssel. Although the white patches on his skin have continued to spread over the years, Marcel has never felt the need to do anything about it. The vitiligo is just there, so be it. The only thing he does is apply extra sunscreen when the sun is shining brightly. 

The new issue of Spotlight! contains more great articles. Vitiligo.nl (formerly the LVVP) is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. It is a good time to zoom in on that past period, what has changed? This results in an interesting timeline, with two dermatologists providing additional information.
