Spotlight! No. 2 (June 2024)

The summer issue of Spotlight! has become a varied song.
The editors include the sensitive story of a 23-year-old student who fell into deep trouble after hearing the diagnosis of vitiligo. With the help of a medical psychologist, he found his way back up. A second article next to it explains what happens during this accompanying process.

In the series Vitiligo & Appearance zooms Spotlight! this time focusing on 'Appearance. From covering tattoos to striking jewelry and from beautifully painted nails to make-up that catches the eye. People deal with their vitiligo in their own way. Some prefer to hide their blank spots. It may well draw the attention of others to it. Editors asked around here and there and collected various responses and photos.

Furthermore, the series The Volunteer has been started and volunteer coordinator Marc van Ravenhorst is at the forefront of this. No association can do without the selfless support of its members. Marc enthusiastically explains what tasks there are and how he keeps the volunteers involved. How much time he puts into his task and how he tries to recruit more volunteers. It turned out to be a nice interview, be sure to read it!

This and much more (what about it, is there a relationship between vitiligo and hormones?), it's all in the brand new summer issue.
