Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) is conducting research into how people with vitiligo, psoriasis, or eczema experience dermatological care. Previous research has shown that skin conditions can manifest differently across skin colors, impacting diagnosis, treatment, and how people perceive care.

Through this campaign, together with all partners, we have succeeded in informing readers about important health topics such as Vitiligo.
True-Vip2 research
The Amsterdam UMC/SNIP is starting a study, the TRuE-ViP2 study, on how well an investigational cream may help treat vitiligo on the face and body in children aged 6 to 11 years.
Study assignment VU students
At the VU Faculty of Medicine, doctors are trained who have both feet firmly planted in society and are interested in the person behind the patient.

Advice on reimbursement of ruxolitinib cream (Opzelura®)
The Dutch Healthcare Institute has declared the dossier concerning the medicinal product ruxolitinib cream (Opzelura®) complete for certain people with a depigmenting skin condition (vitiligo) affecting the face. It has started assessing whether the cream can be reimbursed from the basic health insurance package.
